Lynd Bayker, a rancher dragon, tries her best to live her life working with her adoptive family and carrying on her family tradition. Riding drakes is in her blood, and it may just be the thing that kills her, just like her father and her mother. But Lynd can’t keep her mind off the one ride that got away from her. Karter Dayle, the fox bounty hunter who keeps coming into town. Why? For the work, clearly it's for the work. When the tension finally lets out and they realize they can’t fool around anymore, will they be able to come together peacefully, or will they be too stuck in themselves and their lives to let their love grow.
