Revised Draft Update

Sanctuary is getting closer and closer to getting completed and I'm excited for it to be out in the world.

I recently closed out a revised draft of the book and it increased in length a bit. I also nailed down a few more of the lore tidbits and symbolisms. I think Leah has come a long way with her unique experience of werewolf-ness. I like the relationship and the messages a lot.

As possibly one of my more thematic books I hope it finds the people that will feel most seen by it.

I wrote Sanctuary: Crossing the River in about a two weeks in a fit of personal growth and exploration. Originally it was around 60k and now it's sitting at around 85k. I'm pretty proud of my edits, and I think this is my best book yet.

The main focus of the story is the romance between two characters and their experience joining and rejoining a culture of werewolves.

This story also explores some ideas about pregnancy and love. Love can be reckless sometimes and still work out. Sometimes things between people line up so hard and so strong. Life can make things feel so meant to be. That's what this story is about, fate and love.

This story also has some themes discussing Maya and eventually I might discuss the issue further.
